JAL – JAMEEN – JUNGLE MAHOTSAV (BIHAR PRITHVI DIWAS CELEBRATION, AT TARUMITRA)

On August 9, 2023, the students of STD-5A got the privilege to celebrate Bihar Prithvi Diwas at Tarumitra, which was a resounding success, showcasing their dedication to environmental awareness and creative expression. Through poems, speeches, songs, pledges, placards and gestures leaving a positive impact on everyone present. The students collected rice, pulses, and grains to feed the birds as an earth tax, emphasizing the importance of giving back to nature.

At the end, Father Raneesh Jose, Assistant Director of Tarumitra, encouraged the students with his words of appreciation, which inspired them to continue their efforts towards protecting the planet.

The program was coordinated by Rev.Father Tony Pedanath, Director of Tarumitra; Miss Devopriya Dutta, Environmentalist and UN Youth Coordinator; and Mrs. Angela Anjna, Coordinator, LHS Primary Section.

Mrs. Sandhya Singh Deo, the class teacher of 5A, Mrs. Nitu, and Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Sinha guided the students and made this event a possible one.
