2024-selected-candidates ( Nursery )‘Yoga is the journey, of the self, through the self, to the self.’
On 21st June,2022, International Yoga Day was celebrated in our school. All the students from class 1 to 12 were supposed to be a part of this day to make it a calm and peaceful one.
The students from each class spent approximately half an hour in strengthening their mind, body and soul through yoga. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves.A quiz and a talk show on yoga was also conducted for the students of classes 9 to 12.
Not only the students, but even the teachers tried to relax themselves by doing yoga after all the students left. Different types of yoga postures like mountain pose, vrikshasana, tadasana and cobra pose were taught to all of us.
Reverend Brother Sudhakar Reddy, our principal, also took part in it. A yoga instructor was especially called for the teachers. The teachers happily cherished the yoga session as it relaxed them after a long and tiring day.
There was a peaceful aura that had enveloped all the teachers after the session.
