Loyola’s Eco Club, on 24th August, 2022 concluded the Rakhi Making Competition, with a twist to it. The inter-class competition proceeded with the following stages:
The students were invited to illustrate their creativity by hand-crafting their own ‘Rakhis’ on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan. Each class selected one of its rakhis to represent it and competed against the other ones. Finally, a panel of judges declared the results. VIII D emerged victorious in the competition while IX A and VII C were the first and second runner-ups. Reverend Brother Sudhakar Reddy, our principal kicked off tying the Rakhi in the Special assembly. Sister Joyce and the class teachers tied their class rakhis escorted by the volunteers. Brother addressed the gathering and gave away the prizes. Everyone enjoyed the event from the core of their heart and mind.
