ADDRESSING CHALLENGES IN POST-COVID SCHOOLING

One hour In House Seminar was conducted on 2nd July,2022 on the topic ‘ADDRESSING CHALLENGES IN POST-COVID SCHOOLING.’ The seminar was conducted by Mr. Mathew P. M. ‘All great changes are preceded by chaos.’(Deepak Chopra) After the historic disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, most schools are back open worldwide but education is still in recovery assessing the damage done and lessons learned. The pandemic affected more than 1.5 billion students and youth with the most vulnerable learners were hit hardest. The global health pandemic has shined a bad light on the vulnerabilities and challenges humanity faces. It has provided a clear picture of existing inequalities and a clearer picture of what steps forward we need to take, chief among them is addressing the education of more than 1.5 billion students whose learning has been hampered due to the crisis of Covid-19. Students as well as teachers need to know how this crisis offers an opportunity to transform and re-imagine education and to start realizing a vision for the Future of Learning where all children learn with joy, rigor, and purpose in school and beyond.  The pandemic opens once in a lifetime opportunity, where long overdue investments in technology, teachers, and parents and communities, might happen faster and better.
